Francesca Landi (aka Ziska) is an Italian visual artist. Studying painting in high school in the small Tuscan city of Siena near Florence, Landi began experimenting with creative makeup sessions, photography and illustration. Inspired by Japanese cyberpunk manga and anime, video games and posthumanism, her research centers on the relationship between biology and technology; humans and robots, while developing an alien, cyborg alternative to the human body and creating a new concept of the undefined living form.
Landi graduated with a degree in illustration and comic at Accademia di Belle arti di Bologna before working as a graphic designer in Milan. Now based in Berlin, she is interested in establishing an even deeper connection with the city’s party scene and all the ways in which it breaks the rules of the fashion industry and sexual taboos.
